The Ford-Faesch Manor House has been a fixture in Rockaway Township since the 1700s. The house’s builder, Colonel Jacob Ford, Jr., is also the same individual who built the Ford Mansion and Washington’s Headquarters in Morristown. The house has nine gorgeous stone fireplaces and during the Revolutionary War, General George Washington was said to be a frequent visitor. During 2021, it closed for much-needed renovations.
