Work from home and in search of a place to add change to your everyday routine? Rockaway offers a plethora of places like this, from the small downtown to the mall and its outskirts. Some of our favorites include Panera, Endulzarte, and the classic, Starbucks.
Panera Bread
Located just outside of the Rockaway Mall, Panera is a great alternative to working from your own home. Panera offers a cozy lounge area, various seating options, bakery treats, drinks, and delicious meals. They even have new “lemonade chargers,” which are a perfect caffeinated drink for the warmer weather! The atmosphere is a great one for working, with a fairly quiet and relaxed overall vibe. It would be easy to stay at a place like this for hours, soaking in the peacefulness yet mustering up a sense of productivity.
Endulzarte
Another fan favorite: the café Endulzarte. Located at 30 Wall Street in Rockaway Borough, this Hispanic café offers delectable cakes, crepes, fruit salads, cholados, and more! On top of that, the entire cafe has a welcoming pink theme to it. This is a great place for anyone looking to work somewhere else for the day, because not only are great treats offered but also because it is a bright, positive environment.
Starbucks
Lastly, the infamous coffee shop that can double as an office: Starbucks. Rockaway’s location, conveniently located just outside the mall, is the ultimate work from home spot for anybody for so many reasons. Generally, there are other people also working there, so the environment is usually quiet and respectful of those working. Also, everybody knows the happy feeling you get when deciding to treat yourself with something small but joyful. You can get pastries, lunch snacks, coffees, lattes, refreshers, desserts, and so, so much more. Starbucks has definitely stood the test of time and serves as a great space for anybody who works from home but wants a change in scenery.
